think its time for a new fuel pump...

so i just started tuning my mustang with my wide band o2 kit. at 38psi of fuel with 24# injectors my car was so lean it was off the chart (chart stops at 22:1) i went up to 46psi id i was still lean! i went to 54psi and the motor bogged but unfortunatly the o2 kit wasnt recording (i hit the wrong button) so i dont have the data but im sure if i bogged i went rich. the point is, my optimal AFR is between 46psi and 54psi. my question is, can the stock fuel pump handle that high of a pressure with such a large injector? i still have the stock cam. i plan to go to a ford e-303 cam and a zex 75 shot kit in the future. what size pump should i get (i.e. 155lph, etc)?
should i get in line or in tank?
if i get in line, do i have to remove the factory tank pump or just disconnect the wires?
any help would be greatly apreciated

Just going by memory, but I believe one of BBK's pumps is an inline pump, not in tank.

Do a search on eBay...there are always brand new Walbro 255lph pumps, both in normal and high pressure forms (N/A and boosted applications), from $80-100 shipped.

That is where I plan on purchasing mine.

EDIT:
Boosted applications:
Walbro 255 LPH Part # GSS340
'85-'97 Mustang (excluding certain Cobra models) Kit Part # 400-812

N/A applications:
