Hi,
I was deciding which suspension items to start with. Is your info on ESP allowing subframes with a roll bar from the SCCA? I have a 2002 rule book that did not allow subframes. Could you give me the details?
Thanks

No, SCCA does NOT allow SFCs with or without rollbar in ESP for a fox body as far as I know. If you just get the rollbar welded to the frame you can stay in ESP, and it'll tighten the frame up quite a bit.

Just don't get the SFCs or you'll be running in the mod class.
If you're gonna get SFCs, save up and get strong ones.

If I had to start over on my budget, I'd do the panhard bar, good quality struts/shocks, race brake pads first. Race rubber. Then I'd go with the race springs, maybe H&R, bushing kit, torque arm. At some point you should get a 6 pt roll bar, welded to the frame.

Can't wait for next season

I dont care what kinda rules they break i have had em on every mustang I owned and they will always be one of my first mods. Besides keeping the frame from twisting, I firmy belive they saved me from gettin really hurt, if not killed when I got into my accident in my notch.

My dad just gave me a stock 91 GT and I'm looking to do some upgrades. If one WANTED to install subframe connectors.... what kind/brand would you buy? I'd rather not even mess with bolt-ons, so getting a welding shop to install them is really my only recourse but I'd much rather go that route.

TIA
