thinkin about runing at the track

well my buddie is going to the track tonight and im thinking about racing the six. i havnt raced since i wrecked my GT, and im going to swap out the six for my old motor soon and im courious what the six can do.

anyway, my question is how fast can a stock 97 V6 5speed go?

well im back. i got 4 passes in.


1st pass.
did a 8 sec burnout on the BFGs
slipped the clutch at 3-3.5k

60ft 2.45

2nd pass
did 8 sec bunout on the BFGs
slipped the clutch at 3-3.5k

did no burnout
slipped the clutch at 3-3.5k

Yes that's not to shabby of a time for a 3.8L but,low to mid
16's are expected. Good pass KJ

thanks, but it will be the last as a V6.
