Thinking about an aftermarket radiator...

Just did this!

I just put in a Fluidyne Radiator, it works. It was thicker then stock but the fan still went in. The only thing I had problem with was A/C line (alum. ones) to the condenser I had to tweak a little, just push over a little. The mounts are a little stressed due to the thicker radiator. The mounts aren't the same distance from the front cross piece compared to the stock one. I was hoping that the temp would go down but was dissapointed. It has a 180 thermostat and still not cool enough for me. I was hoping for a better turn out. I was hoping it would stop the heat soak after shut off, NOT. I also put in a Gords HE. It looks great w/the Cobra on the front.

My aluminum radiator was made custom at a shop, they based it off of a Steeda radiator, and man it looks great, and it is the best mod I have ever done. My 96 used to run in the A and the L in NORMAL, now it runs in the N and the O in the spring and fall, and on hot summer days, it's only in the R. AWESOME, I know it is a lot of money and its not a go-fast mod, but it will help you out big time!!!!
