I have a '07 with 15k on it. I have had concerns about changing the coolant because the manual says 5yr/100k. Would it be an acceptable plan to, once per year, pull the hose off the expansion tank effectively draining that and the radiator, then putting back in 50/50 distilled water & the gold coolant from the dealer. Repeat maybe 2x times after that to get a good mix out. Do that once per year then in maybe 5 or so years from now having a professional replace the hoses and do a full flush.

With the low miles your coolant is still fresh, no need to do anything.
My 06 with 50k , the coolant is still in excellent condition.
Just wai a couple of years and have it professionaly done.
You dont want air pockets or different batchs of coolant/water mixed.

Your coolant may look clean and test OK for temperature protection but that tells you nothing about its condition. It is the additive package that wears out or loses its corrosion protection over time. I would suggest getting some Acustrips that will tell you when it is time to change it out. If you drain the tank and radiator and it comes out clean I wouldn't bother having it flushed. Just refill with new 50/50 mix and make sure you bleed the system of any air. I test my cars once a year for condition and temperature protection.

Wayne is exactly right. Make sure it isn't corrosive and still lubricates the water pump seal and bearing.
