Thinking of next mod, something small....

After installing the magnapacks, I am just itching to do something else. The next mod I can afford will have to be something small, and I was thinking about a new gear shift. I have heard all kinds of things about the steeda triax and pro 5.0, but I would like to hear your opinions on the topic. Also, as with everything else, I will be installing this myself, so how difficult is it and is there anything that i should watch out for? Your opinions on the best kit and any other general opinions on the topic are, as always, much appreciated!

Ive already got an x pipe, magnaflows o/r x. I love the magnapack -o/r x pipe combo. I dont wanna do pullies or anything yet. Im am just looking for something small...

A shifter is a good choice. Another really inexpensive mod that is HIGHLY recommended by all of Stangnet is sub-frame connectors. You can get Kenny Brown Super Subs for no more than $160 (parts and labor). The other REQUIRED mod is the K&N air filter ... the easiest 2-3 rwhp you can buy.

man, subframe connectors, I never even thought of those. Thanks guys! I like to do all of my installs myself, how is the subframe connector instal if you are doing it yourself??

i'd say to go with a shifter and it pretty much comes down to preference between the tri-ax and the pro 5.0 ... i have the pro 5.0 in my car and love. shifting is much quicker.

I would say to go with a shifter as well, though I am considering getting a UPR blue thunder shifter. I just love the stick design I know that I wouldn't see it with the stock shift boot, but that can be fixed.

well, i didnt think people considered the k&n filter a mod, just kind of one of those things you just do. I guess I should put that on my sig, it was the first thing I got....
