Thinking of Rachet shifter? Pros/Cons!!!

I was watching one of those car shows on Spike TV and they installed a Rachet shifter onto a manual transmission for an S10 pickup. Anyone here have one on there mustang? Pro's or con's to having one?

Any advice is helpful

i did see that string, but his was an automatic, I am looking at putting this in a manual... have not seen anyone do that yet..
