Figure this should be the same for all mod blocks so I want to post here and not SVT. I always wondered why the car left a very small spot on the floor. I knew it had to be coolant because it comes up pretty easy. The problem is I never have to add coolant cause its never low. I could never find the leak till today, a small drop comes out every 5-10 minutes out this verry small hole. It looks like its supposed to be there, no cracks or anything and looks drilled. Verry small hole, mabey a mm at most. Is it supposed to be there? Its the cooling jacket around the oil filter connection. The hole points straight down and is right behind the sensor mount (see red circle in pic) Do I need to have this welded?

So how many people went outside to see if theirs had this hole ?
But seriously, its driving me nuts! I dont see why Ford would put a hole there, it has to be a defect or something. Since nobody knows I think I will just JB weld it

id patch it with something not as permanent as a weld, like mighty putty or something, so if it really WAS necessary then youd be able to backtrack

Thanks alot Really helped, and hurt, I need to replace the cooling jacket and its like $200 Now I dont want to even drive it because that is supposed to be a warning of a rupture and I dont want water in the oil

I guess I should learn how to use search

The more I look at it and the new one (in LMR cat.) I dont see any reason I cant just JB weld the hole. I will lose a little efficiency because the fins will be surrounded by warm coolant rather than air but thats it, mabey a 5 degree difference Hell the Terminators dont even have them, couldnt find a part number for one anyway.
