I finally think I've decided on the wheels. I like the 03 Cobra wheels, 4 lug.

As I'm pricing them out I notice three different offset/backspacing!!!! I understand
that these are all repo rims... but HOW am I supposed to know which ones are best?

The best pics of these wheels I've seen are on Alanw6's ride. I want that EXACT
combo... but can't do a search on his name for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks!!

Oh... I figured since I mentioned 4 lug it kind of gave it away what car I have.

It's a 92'

It does have a 1.5" Steeda suspension mod with camber plates properly set.

thanks...

I got a set for my car. Where are you ordering them from? I don't recall american muscle giving me an option for a diffrent offset but according to their website they say 18mm is the best. I don't think anybody beats american muscle on price and the free shipping is a big bonus. You will have a lil rub in the front more than likely turning full lock.

I haven't picked out the supplier yet... I was just doing a comparison on the
wheels from different places that sold them. That's how I noticed the different
dimensions.

So you say yours are 18mm offest... where exactly do they rub? Because I found
one place stating the offest was 26mm.

The backspacing (BS) on the 18mm wheel is 6.0"

The BS on the 26mm wheel is 5.7"

Thus the difference... 8mm is about .3"

So which would be better... I guess it depends on where it's rubbing?

I emailed Alan on his sweet green LX and he's not sure which ones he has but
said he'd get back to me on where he got them... along with his tire sizes.

Very helpful of him!!

I beleive mines rubbing on the plastic inside the fender. I'm debating on whether to pull it out or leave it or fabricate somethin of my own. I haven't really got out to look at it to much though because its so slight . In past threads I beleive someone said the inner portion of their wheels rubbed on tie rod ends forget which wheel that was though, I haven't had that issue though. I think the problem I got could be fixed with a 245x40x17 tire. Don't try a 235 either, the
245's are already flush with the wheel lips making curbs bad news for the wheels.
