On the front page they have a “how to rebuild your ford 8.8 rear end” the top computer picture is of a GM posi unit.

on top of that the article is pretty bad tech wise, with no mention of pinon depth, pinon bearing preload, backlash, gear tooth pattern, crush sleeves and many other crucial things to check and do while performing differential work.

I know I might get flamed for this, but shame on you stangnet.

It is very vauge on a rather important topic, I just don't think stangnet should be promoting tech articals that leave out the important tools, techniques, etc required to do the job right and not blow up your rearend.

Its just not right to the people that don't know any better.

it was titled wrong at first, it was for a differential swap, not a gear change. & it is in the middle of being fixed. we had it proofread several times & still missed some stuff. just hang on, it'll get taken care of

Thanks, that is great to hear.

remeber when you change cariers, you still need to check gear runout, pattern, backlash, etc.
