My uncle has a 70 with a 454, fully restored. Car is SICK.

Only option his car doesn't have is the cowl hood.

Nice choice man, definatly one of the most in-your-face cars made back in the day.

Id have NO shame driving that although im mainly a Ford guy.

If you like to actually drive, buy a sports car. Old school muscle cars aren't good for much besides lookin cool and being loud. Just my .02

I disagree this car is very beautiful.... it's an old car that is still very streetable even though it has a 427 i think at one point he was driving it every day.

This is my friends website he's actually opening a garage, but these are all his car... he just keeps adding and adding

I say go for it. I'd never give up having a stang for a chevelle, but I've always loved them and wouldn't mind having one in addition to the stang.

Depending on what you want, you could easily build that Chevelle to handle like a dream. And if you really wanted it to be a dependable DD....all you gotta do is drop in a more modern powertrain, especially something Fuel Injected. Might not be cheap, but its been done many times.

Chevelles are sweet as hell. I like almost any late 60's' early 70's muscle car. If I ever could buy one, I'm not sure I'd be able to choose.

Chevelle's are easy to drive everday, screw fuel injection, carbs work great. Now braking, if it's the 4 wheel drum brakes, takes a lil getting used to. But all the slight problems are easy to correct, power disk brakes and a lil firming up of the suspension and they are great cars.
