Don't know if it's the economy, so much as if it's the fact that it's a Mustang.

Sad but true.

see mine is just a gt not a cobra or mach or anything super special so doin a bunch of mods doesn't hurt the value any at all. and i hate stupid body kits. i dont know if you would consider doin a 03/04 cobra body conversion a body kit, but if you do it aint some stupid lookin black widow kit or somethin stupid like that.

16,800 value here. Oh well atleast its paid for.

My concern is that these rare cars (mach, cobras, ect) are getting low enough now that kids can afford them.
And thats just scary when I think about the average 17-18 YO kid picking up an 03 cobra as his first car...danger danger danger for the rest of us. Plus alot of wrecked cobras and machs.

The mach isnt going anywhere fellas, I would never think about selling it, but it makes me sick that I owe more than its worth, that was the only reason I looked it up on KBB....

I have made some bad decisions by spending more money on mods rather than paying it off, but then again, if I did put all the money into paying it off, my Mach wouldn't be what it is.... It would be stock....

not me,

Makes me laugh at the crap mustangs I see and my under valued z06 I drive

These cars are a dime a dozen. Can't say now many C5's, GT's, and other cars I drive by, take 30 seconds to look at, and know they are dogs.

As you stated, Epik, these cars, nor most cars are investments. The people I really feel bad for are those like you. People that have oustanding quality vechicles, unmolested, and treated with great respect. Not the 16 year old joe blows that join this site, drop every dime they have in to their body kits and wheels, then talk crap to others and tell them to shut up.

Even from a frc body owner, your car is outstanding, don't put that blower on it. keep it as it is. 300+rwhp and amazing looks will still be an eye turner 20 years from now.

Thanks bro!!!

I really appreciate that. I have decided against the blower, because I need to stop thinking about modding, & think about paying my car off. I am happy with it the way it is at this point, & I dont want to do much more to it. I will however, keep modding my fox body because I already own it, & its waaaaaay cheaper to make fast!!! Plus if I blew the motor in my notch, I wouldnt care because I could pick up another for next to nothing... But an all aluminum Mach 1 32V motor doesnt come cheap....

I know its disappointing now but look at what you have! Cars like ours are gonna take a hit in times like this but look at it this way. Our cars were only 15-20% more money then a loaded GT of the same year, right now they are worth DOUBLE what a same year GT is worth. Look how much an original Mach1 is worth now or an original Cobra. They are worth 30-100x more then they were new. In ten years our cars will be worth allot assuming the economy is better by then

Well if a lot of kids get ahold of all our cars and wreck them all up....then that should drive the value up

Otherwise...I wouldnt count on it.

how do you think I feel about my GT?

At least I never plan on selling it.

besides, I'm about to spend some more $$$ on the GT. My way of giving this crappy economy the middle finger.
