Has any one swaped a Eaton blower from a Lighting or Cobra on a GT??? I see a lot of them for sale on the net for $500-$1,000. Some have had port work done to them by Apen. The lighting is a 4.6 modular motor just like the stang only diffrent thing i can see is the way the port holes will be made. But some guy's have PI-Intakes on 96-98 GT and they have diffrent port holes. Hell I have SVO-Heads with a PI -Intake and it pull's hard with on trouble at all. Any way can it be done if so this would be nice for any one on a budget. I can't see way it can't bee done as long as you port mach the blower to the lower intake. Just like you do for a Intake swap for a PI upgrade. What do you guy's think????

The lighning is a 5.4L not a 4.6 the heads are the same but the deck height of the block is larger, making the intake wider so the lower intake won't fit.

Not to mention you would have to get the blower, injectors, fuel pump, a chip/tune, custum fabrication, etc.

I bet it would be cheaper to buy a used ProCharger kit then to build up this from scratch.
