Hey, I'am having some chrome tails and some mufflers welded in at a well known shop. They are going to charge me $60.00 for everything. You think this sounds right?
Yeah, that sounds about right to me, too. Especially if they're known for doing good work. Welding isn't that hard, but GOOD welding isn't that easy, or cheap.
unfortunately I got my muff's welded in for $60 each (that was before I knew what was what) and they did a PISS POOR job...never go to Midas (but I'm sure you knew that)
60 is great! I paid sixty for my exhaust guy to weld mine in and he cut me a break!! Especially if he does good work, its well worth a little extra $$ for good welds.
