Iit will be tough. If I dont hit 400 with my new set up (Trick flow R intake and custom grind cam shaft) then there is no way that combo would. Im not going to pick up 60 RWHP so if your shooting for 400 at the wheels it will be tough.

As long as you told Ed what you wanted, it should be real easy to hit 400hp.

400 at the wheels shouldn't be too hard. but 42# injectors are probably called for ... after all, you are talking about 500 horses at the crank

Yeah a lot of it will lie in the Cam. I think it will be close but interesting to see what that combo will pull off. Im currently having ED make a camshaft for me as well.

Easy. The tune might be interesting, but the power will be there. 36 pound injectors are no longer made, but 42 pound injectors are common, along with the OEM quality Ford LMAF, so you may want to think about buying that set and be done with it.

i would just see what ed says. i dont know if the 185s are good for 500 horse at the crank out of the box. im sure with a good cam and some cnc ported 185s you should certainly be good then. you will need all of the supporting boltons and and a well thoughtout drivetrain for it too. you will also want a 3 inch exhaust and i would say 1 7/8 primary longtube headers to get there. that engine will have to really breathe to get there

What did you ask for when you emailed him? When I was doing my 347 3 years ago I was very specific in what I wanted. Ed's response was "Be ready, you've allowed me to go wild"

I told him I wanted a cam that would pull in the RPM range along w/ the Trick Flow R intake and the AFR 185's and that Im trying to make s much HP as I can N/A. I know my Cobra intake is running out of steam long before the AFR's do in the 1/4 and I just want a cam that is going to produce the power to go along w/ the Intake and the heads.

I like the victor better but both are strong in the upper rpm's. The systemax II will make more torque than both of them but probably won't make the 400 hp your shooting for.

you may not make exactly 400 hp but you should be very close. I also think that the 42lb injectors are the way to go.

I found some kook long tubeheaders with 1 7/8" primaries to a 3" collector, but they are just over 1k for the ceramic coated. Also a prochamber offroad h-pipe for about 260. But I cant find a cat-back system that is 3" other then the Bassani with turn down tips or dumps. I like bassani but I want nice stainless tips out back, plus I want a more muscley, deep throat sound.
I think the pro-chamber will help with this but not sure or should I just find a regular offroad h-pipe that is 3"?
I want something like a flowmaster cat-back with some super 40's
does anyone have delta force 1 or delta force 40 and how do they sound?

I dont think either one is better persay they will both produce big power and great flow numbers. Go with which one you lke more. I went with the Trick Flow R painted black b/c I think it looks awesome.
