Well earlier in the year I decided to sell my 98 gt stupid choice, and buy a 90 gt hatch. Well the hatch had full suspension including tubular a arms k member coil overs and so on, it also supposedly had GT40 heads a e-cam and a 306. I bought it from a friend that I was good friends with.

Well a hour after I bought the car I called my friend and told him that I wanted my money back something was up with the car. He told me that’s to bad cause the moneys already gone. So I just decided I would put a little time and money in it and make it the car I wanted since I had alot left over from selling my 98.

I was driving it a week later and the ****ing trans that was supposedly rebuilt blew, it decided it no longer wanted to shift (auto). So I figured I would put tko 600 in it since I plan on going down the power adder route hopefully soon. I got everything but the bell back in the middle of august, the company I bought the trans from said they would have the bell in the next couple of weeks. Well I just found out the other day that they wont get the bell till middle of October. I also found out that the heads are just stock heads, im not sure if it has a cam because the idle jumps around and the car acts like it wants to die, I don't even know if it is really a 306 or not. I know its been rebuilt but I don’t know to what extent.

I just want to drive my car I put 30 miles on it before the trans blew back in July, I miss driving something with power I can't even ride my motorcycle because its been cold and rainy the past few weeks.

Maybe the stress of college and working two jobs is finally catching up to me.
Thanks for listening to me piss and moan.

306 is just a 302 cleaned up..there is no performance advantage. You can bet your ass that if the heads are stock and lied about that the E cam stnds for "E"very cam found in a stock mustang...live and learn.Good luck in the bell.

First, never buy a car from a friend. Especially if you want to stay friends.

Second, now that you already did it anyways, I would confront him as to why the car doesnt have any of the stuff he told you it did.

This isn't the first car i have bought from him i bought the 98 from him too and everything turned out fine.

I'll admit i made stupid mistakes when i bought this car, mistakes i'll never make again.

Whatever happened to people being honest?

haha every stock car somehow magically has "Heads and a cam"

Or, stock heads with "a lot of port work, a valve job and roller rockers" and plus a "mild cam"

Sucks to hear man, don't let it get you down though, there are worse things, atleast the motor isn't held in the car by a piece of string!

"But only had one previous owner... James Bond!"
