Those with glow guages: what wire to get power from

I just got my glow gauges and don't know what wire to get power from to illuminate them. Does anyone know what wire I can tap into. Thanks
Here are some pics outside the car. I just installed the tint film from lamin-x. Takes a few days to smooth out and evaporate so for now it looks a little textured.

I ran the hot wire from the transformer down through the dash and into the fuse for the headlight illumination. And you can dim them with the factory dimmerswitch like that too. I dont suggest cutting wires behind the cluster. I did that and had a world of trouble and still have trouble sometimes. The only wire that I would recomend cutting is the tach lead if you get a shift light.

You shoud have gotten the reverse glow ones, IMO they look better. But I need to get some colored bulbs for the warning lights, They are all white.

Could you two guys dim them with the dimmer? cause it was a PITA to run it through the dash, and if he can dim it there then why not.

Well it comes with its own dimmer and switch for picking blue or green. I wanted reverse lit with white numbers but no one makes it so i went with an 03 cobra look. So run it to the headlight wiring though. Does no one know the illumination wire for the stock gauges. They're right there behind the gauges.

If you have a haynes repair manual look on like page 12-25 or something close. I think there are 3 different wires illuminating the three different areas though.

Just running a wire to the back of the spade on the fuse is really only good for testing purposes. It is NOT a permanent solution.

My glow gauges are the same type as DARK-5.0's. I liked them better than the reverse glow. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. For example, they look decent lit, but I have no idea why anyone would tint the clear plastic over the guages. But again, not my car.

FYI, I tapped into the power for my parking lights rather than the dimmer. Speedhut (brand of my glow gauges) specifically said in their instructions to attach it to a NON-DIMMING circuit.

The idea is to look like the older lexus's. The gauges will always be on aslong as the car is on and I will adjust the dim accordingly. Here are some pics of them in the car.

Thjats pretty cool. I might do that with mine, But you need a wire that is hot with the ignition, dont do what I said then, cause mine will only come on if the lights are on.
