Thoughts on this MIG welder

I found this MIG welder locally (see link) for $200 (asking price). Used 1x, per the ad, but I have not looked at it in-person yet. Seems to be a good deal, if as advertised. But, I would appreciate any input from some of you who are more experienced w/ welding.

I'm just looking for something to do light welding and sheetmetal work on the car and around-the-house projects. Novice work at most.

Any questions I should be sure to ask? Accessories/supplies to consider in the cost, if they aren't included? Thoughts on Hobart brand, in general?

TIA for any input/feedback. I'm posting in tech and talk. Mods, please delete if that's a problem--I promise not to make a habit of it!

Hobart machines are Miller machines with a different paint job. Good quality stuff. That # says that it includes the cart, gas regulator also. As long as all that is included you are getting it at less than 1/2 price, pretty good buy.
I am partial to the 230v machines, but if you are only going to use it for light stuff you should be ok, that will make a good starter machine.

Ive got a 130 licoln and have not run against anything I can use it for on my car. Sounds like a good deal.

Is it really a MIG welder or is it a flux core welder?

Looks identical to the Hobart 140 I purchased about 8 years ago. I love mine. It works great for anything I've ever needed to weld. They say up to 1/4" steel with it. There's nothing on a Mustang body that is over 1/4", and most odd projects don't require metal heavier than 1/4". I've used it a lot, replaced nothing other than wear items and it still works great. Mine is a gas welder and mostly I'm welding steel with C25 gas.

Glad to hear this. The 125 that I originally posted about didn't work out. It ssold before I could meet w/ the guy. But, I found a 140 the next day on craigslist for $50 more...a better machine, and he through in nearly 10 lbs. of wire w/ it, in case I wanted it for anything.
