I want some input on motive gears because on ebay BRENSPEED is selling motive gears, master bearing kit and the axle bearings and seals for like $230.00 shipped. seems like a real good price.

But for the extra money should i just go with the Ford Racing ones?

let me have as much input as possible.. share your opinions please.

thanks.

I'm going to buy the same kit. I have Motive gears in my Lightning and in my Cobra. They're fine. Unlike the FMS gears they need a little shimming- no big deal.

A possible word to the wise. A rumor from a good source suggested that if your new Ford gears end with an M at the end of the part #, they indeed are made by Motive.

I had motive 4:10's in my 98 that were loud as hell and after checking everything 10 times (really) to make sure it was setup right I ripped em out and replaced them with ffrp gears and had no more noise.
