I am so embarresed to ask this question but i'll feel much worse if i don't. HERE IT GOES! where are the spark plugs all located on my 02 GT? If someone could post a picture so i can get a visual if not i'll just ask my mechanic. Go ahead and laugh but i noted this in my profile "I don't know much about cars but i'm willing to learn". So once you guys get done rolling on the floor could you get back to me so i can check and see if i am in the clear.
if you look at the top of your motor right along the edge of the intake manifold you will see the fuel rails. the plugs are under the black coils that is under the fuel rail. it's 1 7mm bolt that holes the coil to the intake and it slides right out from under the fuel rail. real easy to do.
I think i know what you are talking about. Should i be able to move those black covers by hand?? Because i was yesterday but i didn't know what they were and i didn't want to mess with it that much.
those will move side to side a little. but not pull out untill you take the 7mm bolt out. then the plugs are under those. you will not be able to see them, they are in a recess in the head. you need a 3/8 rachet a few different extensions and a spark plug socket.
