I've got a question as to how much a 70 mm bbk throttle body would cost for my 91 GT. I've seen it advertised anywhere from like 170-200 for the tb and 50-60 for the EGR spacer. I know MAC makes one also, for much cheaper. Like 140 for tb and 40 for the EGR on 5.0 resto. Is the MAC as good as the bbk, or is the bbk worth the extra bucks? thanks.

Also, are you required to have the matching EGR spacer. I have the stock motor, but if i were to get an edelbrock performer 5.0 intake would i need the egr spacer or just the 70mm tb?

For that edelbrock you'd need the 70mm TB and matching 70mm egr spacer. I prefer accufab tb's. I've ran 2, a 65mm and a 75mm and the quality is unreal. You pay for it though. I think I paid $269 free shipping.

Unless you are track only with a hot H/C/I combo, stick with a 65 MM TB for a 302. You'll get better low rpm power on the street with a 65 mmTB.

Is the upgrade to 65mm even worth it?
