Ive been working all week on getting my GT40Ps and exploder intake on my car. Did 13 hours today and got stuck once again on the bolts holding the throttle body and EGR spacer to the upper intake. The ones in my HO intake are 16 years old and very, very rust-welded tight.
I think the design of having a threaded rod/stud with a nut is stupid. Why isnt it just a bolt? then at least you could turn the damn thing out.
What should i do? Im pretty sure i need to buy new, because it would take me a while to get the studs out of the HO intake with vice grips and im just going to chew the crap out of the threads anyway.
