So I'm shopping for a TB,Plenum,CAI combo and have a couple configs I'm looking at.
1) JLT, Accufab 75mm TB and Plenum
2) Mac Str8 SHot, Accufab 75mm TB and Plenum
3) C & L TrueFlow Intake Plenum 75mm Accufab TB

Which you think makes more power?

thxs for posting the link, thats a good read. I have been looking at different combo;s for awhile now and basically know the tb, plenum I want. I just been over at MPH looking at the dyno #'s from 2 N/A lightly modded GT's and both of them are making more power than comparable cars I have seen elsewhere. The mac straight shot was used on both of the higher HP cars. I'm curious if the bigger maf is the reason?

on lightly modded cars, the MAF is not a HP maker. It is in the tune.

How about you post what you have. There is also a spot called 'signature' where you can type in your mods.

 how about you leave your thoughts on the best cai,tb,plenum combo on the market today.

I didn't think that the bigger maf was responsible untill I saw the results posted over at mph. Still I'm not saying it is responsible for the gains.
But look at this:
267HP/308 Tq
Mac Prochamber & Cat-back
Mac Straight shot with 85mm MAF
Accufab 75mm T/B & plenum
Steeda pulleys

Thats alot of damn power from the mods the guy listed. Anyway another car using similiar mods put out near the same, but yet other cars with different cai and tb plenum combos are in the 255 range. All tuned by the same person on the same dyno.

the MAFs offer very little in anything. Allowing more air flow helps a little, but the stock supports over 300 hp. The inlet pipes probably have more to do with it. The plenum and TB has the most to do with it. I ended up with my filter staight on the end of my MAF and it was better than the fenderwell kit.

personaly i'd go with the setup that i have Demolet CAI, stock Maf, dragon 75mm TB and Dragon Plenum.

i personaly did not want a metal intake for scratch, rust, and heat issues. as far as TB and plenum the accufab has proven time and again to make 1-2 more HP then the others at peak... however, i do not want to spend 100-150 more on the accufab for 1-2 possible HP.

take it for what its worth... i like my setup and for what i paid i'd do it again on another car.
