If you're just swapping intakes, it's only 12 more bolts...

The only part that could be considered 'tricky' is sealing across the front & rear. Unhook everything that's attached to your intake now, lay it out in order. Bolt the new intake down and put all the hardware back on. Be sure to have the right size wrench or a large adjustable for the heater pipes. Unhook the battery before you start. Using a permanent marker, make match marks on the front of the distributor & block and then again on the inside of the distributor & the rotor and then DO NOT turn the engine over at all until the distributor is back in. An intake swap really isn't that difficult. Just take your time, be patient and ask all your questions. You may want to pick up a few gaskets and a can of 'the Right Stuff' ahead of time. i.e. Thermostat housing gasket, Intake gaskets (FelPro-1250 or equivalent), upper-lower gasket. Maybe a quality set of intake bolts if they're in your budget
