I have an Accufab 65mm throttle body. On the top of the TB, is a curved tube in which a vacuum line is attached. This tube was always plugged up in my application.

This tube became loose and is now gone. So now i have a hole on top of my TB.

Since then, by Mustang idles MUCH better and it accelerates more smoothly though I had to adjust the idle and TPS settings. Cold starts have improved as well.

Is having a hole on top of my TB a bad thing (loss of horsepower) since air is escaping? The idles is now solid and i no longer have issues with it BUT if this mean losing horsepower, i'd rather go with a 70mm.

That is a big vacuum leak which leans the air fuel ratio which can lead to detonation. You need to find a way to reconnect the PCV tube to the throttle body and then reconnect the PCV vacuum tube from the valve cover to the throttle body.
