I'm ordering a throttle body for my 347 stroker right now. It has a Trick Flow Track Heat intake manifold, which is listed as having a 75mm throttle body inlet. Should I go with a 75mm throttle body to match, or is that too big? Would a 70mm result in more power? Also, I plan on buying an Edelbrock throttle body. Are these good products? I always hear about the BBK throttle bodies sticking and breaking. Any other good throttle body manufacturers?

well, edelbrock and bbk throttle bodies are the same. i have had absolutely no problems with mine sticking. as far as size, a 75mm throttle body is an overkill. i wouldnt go with anything over 70mm.

Ford put a 65mm TB on the '95 Cobra R which had the 351. I assume they know what they are doing.

well, lets look at it this way.....do you have plans for even more power later on, or is what you have already enough to satisfy you?

Ok, thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably go with a 70mm. Is adding 45 extra cubes considered a usual bolt on? I don't intend on adding a power adder to this car any time in the near future.

I would think with the 347 either 65 or 70mm should be fine.
