My wife has a 2004 GT with a StreetSmart Design CAI and a Predator tune. A Bassani catback is planned next week. She plans on a Kenne Bell Twin Screw Intercooled supercharger in a couple years. 3.73's are planned for next year. She just wants to make it a little faster NOW.

We're looking at the Accufab 75mm TB. Will this be a better choice over the stock TB? Even 5 HP would be worth the cost becuase it looks a whole lot nicer than the stock unit. Also, it would be one less thing to buy when she's ready for the Kenne Bell.

Thanks for the help!

Well, the catted X pipe is out of the price range right now. Also, the 75mm TB will be needed for the Kenne Bell.

I can get the Accufab 75mm shipped for $208. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

if I were to do it I would go with the Accufab 75mm TB and Plenum, oh wait that is what I did do lol. Why keep the stock plenum?

I'm keeping the stock plenum becuase I can't use the Accufab one when I get the Kenne Bell. I hate buying parts, using them for a year, and then losing my ass on them trying to sell them.

I did that with my 5.0 I'm trying to better plan this car's modifications.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the KB kit come with a 75mm T/B already?

It's optional, I'd do the accufab now will proably be overkill you could always P&P the stock plenum for now or pick one up on ebay cheap then resale it once you do the KB.
