Throttle doesn't close all the way

The other day I removed the throttle body and cleaned the whole thing plus the IAC with carb cleaner. After I put it back on, I set the base idle but after giving it throttle I guess it stays stuck open a little bit. I have to push it with my finger to get the idle to drop and then it'll only stay until I open the throttle and then it sticks again. Any recommendations on what I can do? Maybe something to do with that spring underneath? Or I didn't dry it well enough? Thanks.

problem is fixed. I took the throttle body off again, being careful not to destroy the gasket I just bought a few days ago. I played with the mechanism and noticed it was scraping on one side. I guess I had left some residue on there that was making it stick. so, I sprayed it down with wd40 and scrubbed it real good with an old toothbrush (screw the protective coating). after that, throttle action was super smooth! problem fixed, throttle goes where it needs to be. I was already thinking of just replacing the throttle body altogether. good thing I didn't. I'll wait til I have a gt40 tubular and some gt40 heads and get a 70 mm.
