It's been making a moan whenever I depress the clutch, but just recently that noise has gotten alot louder. Is there a bandaid that can prolong the life of the TOB long enough for me to order some parts online? What clutch/flywheel should I get? I was looking at these:

but I don't know how stiff of a clutch pedal the Zoom has... I want to keep stiffness around stock levels. What other parts will I need/should I get? How much would all this cost to get installed? I live in an apartment and I'm not the most mechanically inclined person on the earth.

If you can afford the good stuff, by all means go for it. I'm in the middle of doing the clutch thing myself. I got a nodular iron flywheel from D&D for $99.

I would recommend replacing (as long as you're in there) the throw out bearing, the pilot bearing, the rear main seal (if it's leaking) and the fork for a HD version of it along with it's pivot. Good luck!

WOW my 2004 GT makes a squalling / screeching squeeking sound when i drive 20 to 30 min and get the car hot, i does it when i push the clutch in , but i can back off the clutch a little ,and the noise stops, not sure what it is just yet
could be a Pilot Bearing or Tob

For the mods you have to your car the A302 Clutch kit from Ford motorsports 180 bucks and you get the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.. i ran a few in my car back in they day. would work fine... Stock pedal feel and a tried and true factory style replacement. Unfortunatly, if you have to pay for labor, it is most likely going to cost you more than the clutch. go ahead and replace it as soon as it starts squeling.. And use a QUALITY throwout bearing.. i went cheap a few months back and put in just a regular discount Auto parts throwout bearing when i put the transmission back in the car, not even 3 months ago.. Well it started squeking, and I just let it go for a while, then the bearings froze up so when i pushed the clutch in the pressure plate was actually just spinning on the Frozen up T/O bearing... I took it back out when the noise got really strange and it ended up DESTROYING the pressure plate assembly costing me another 300 bucks for a replacement assembley.. all that over a 30 dollar fix and about 2 hours of my time... lol...

Huudoo... a little bit of noise is not neccesarily the end all be all. I have heard cars with brand new bearings that make a little tinkly sound when released... The squaling of the bearings going out is unmistakable... you will def. know when its not right..

I have precisely the same problem. Car is fine first 20 minutes driving in the hot weather, but as soon as it warms up it makes all kind of noises when clutch pressed. Did you get it fixed? What was the issue?

I use a centerforce II clutch and a fidanza aluminum flywheel. its a great set up and I havent had a problem since. I also got a centerforce throwout bearing, I wanted to make sure it would last. *it gets me mad that summit would lower there price on the flywheel a year after i got mine- dam them lol, it was like $360.00 a year ago*
