It shouldn't take me 11seconds to get to 70mph after installing 4.56 gears, right ?
i did install the throwout bearing on the wrong side of the retainer.
my first time ever doing transmission work.

Try this test. Set the parking brake hard. Hold in the clutch. Put into 4th gear. Rev the motor and dump the clutch.

Does the motor die or continue to run?

IF the motor dies, then the clutch is holding as it should.

If the clutch is slipping because of an installation error then likely it would slip almost all the time. A slipping clutch will only heat up and slip more.

Do you smell anything?
