Just wondering if anyone else out there gets the same noise that I hear occassionally? The noise is a spinning noise and comes on when getting on it hard and shifting quickly. You can hear something spinning and when I let off of the gas the sound is still there (spinning sound) but goes away on it's own (lasts no longer than 5 seconds). So far, I think I have heard this sound maybe 10 times total and it's always after getting on it pretty hard. As you know noises like this are sometimes very hard to figure out where they are coming from. This one is harder since the throwout bearing and driveshaft are very close to each other.
Has anyone else experienced this same type of thing? Could this be a Throwout Bearing slightly hanging up? The clutch feels strong and isn't slipping at all. Could this be coming from the two-piece driveshaft (that could create a spinning noise when you change the pinnion angle under heavy loading)? I do have the car lowered (Eibach Prokit), tubular lower control arms and relocation brackets, and an adjustable panhard bar. However, I still have the stock upper control arm, so I was wondering if the pinion angle from a lowered car and the two-piece driveshaft are the culprit. Any ideas/suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Is this only happening when letting completely off of the gas? Have you changed out gears in your car??

I guess I cannot answer for sure if it only happens when letting off of the gas, cause I can't hear it when I'm getting on it. So it may be happening at that time too. I've heard it a couple more times and it really sounds like it's coming from the end of the transmission (referencing by the location of the shifter). Honestly, I think that since the car is lowered and I don't have an adjustable rear upper control arm, I think it's coming from a loading situation on the driveshaft (bearing noise).

No gear changes, still have the stock 3.55's. This noise is def. from the center of the car and not from the rear.
