ok since i've installed the longtubes on my car ive had a nice little tick whenever the wheel is turned to the right and im rolling OR during heavy braking. the noise is Vehicle speed dependent and only seems to occur whenever the front left is loaded.

i thought that it might be one of the dust shield since im running 03 cobra brakes so i jammed all of those out of the way more... no change...

figured it was the bracket that holds the ABS sensor cable... jammed that all the way against the strut with no change.

last night i figured, maybe its my stainless brake line****ting a wheel weight, well with the wheel turned right there is about 5" of clearance lol.

my only guess's are a wheel bearing/hub or something to do with the rotor...

ive had a wheel bearing go out on my 86 Fiero GT before and it was more of a chirp that would get louder with more load, this sounds like something is hitting the wheel and will even do it in a parkinglot at idle in 1st gear with my 4.10's

what else is there to hit under there?

I would assume that there is a clearance issue with the headers on the side that you are turning on due to a small amount of body movement (because you mentioned it was speed dependent) and maybe it's on the joint of the steering shaft.. or just one of the header tubes hitting the frame or something...did you drop the k-member to put them in... maybe double check the tightness of the swaybar links if you loosened them...

Header/steering shaft clearance seems like the most likely culprit. If it's not to bad (bad as in like moving the header half an inch lol) you can file the outer sleeve of the steering shaft down to gain some room.

when you mentioned a tick... to me a tick is a metallic noise... but I'm glad you get the issue figured out!!
