Ticking from vavle covers but disappears

when I first drove it (after hci 100 miles) not a single noise then today it sounds like the number 4 is ticking but then after a lil while it goes away ........interesting watson what would u suggest?

Were you going up a hill?

Sometimes at part throttle I hear a ticking but it is always when Im going uphill. I dont really worry as it did that in stock form as well.
That probably doesn't really help you though...

It is very common for rockers to work themselves loose sometimes. Chances are you need to pull the upper intake and valve covers and check them (particulary the #4) or just reset them all.

That sounds like detonation to me .....

I hear very light ticking from mine... Maybe the TFS rockers are just noisy? and my sound is coming from the same side as yours. When I go to do the turbos, i'm going to readjust the rockers and see if that makes it go away.

It wasnt detonation. That is more of a clanking evil sound. Usually happened when it was 110* outside and I started the car after letting it sit for only a few minutes. Believe me, threre is a huge difference.
