Hi guys im not sure if im posting this in the right place but I Will anyways. I have a ticking sound in my 2000 mustang gt I bought a used motor at a junk yard and it turned out to have little cams and forged pistons and rods with ferrea valves and head studs as for the valve springs I dont know how to tell if they are after market my question is what can cause a top end tick it sounds light and not like a spun rod when I bought the notor and installed it I ran it for a couple of months I wasn't light on it either I constantly stepped on it and it never gave out I put synthetic and the noise quieted down a bit
