All right, just getting my front suspension back together, and the slotted nuts that fit onto the tie rod ends wont go back on. I tried PB blaster, and laods of other stuff. It looks like the threads on the nuts are pretty damaged, as well as the threads on the "bolt" that goes through the spindle.

Is there a part I can get at Autozone that will replace that whole end, including the nuts and bolts? How do I get that end off?
I would like to finish my car tonight, so fast help is appreciated!

Thanks!

just buy a new tie rod end. they come with new castle nuts and everything. they should run about $30-$45 each. you can use your old jam nut(the nut on the inner tie rod)

For those who care.. I went to Autozone and got two tie rod ends, $22/each. put them both on, both are working fine

Thanks SaleenGT2001
