Tilt Steering need some help fixing because of attempted theft

Some of you might know my car almost was stolen on Tuesday night from work but anyway I need to fix it however i need a whole Tumbler Housing but I need to get the tilt steering mechanism off first, here's the link. Thanks.

I was able to get all the parts from ford to rebuild my entire tilt column. That part that got broken on yours is the whole aluminum assembly that is basically the base for the tilt. I got that piece from ford for pretty cheap, then realized they've changed it a bit and i had to replace the upper collar, ignition switch, and just about everything else. I still came out under 100 for all that.

How did you get the tilt steering unit off in order to get the aluminum housing off? Thats where i'am now and i'm stuck.

anyone? I called Ford and they didnt have a clue because they dont go that far back for repair manuals i'm like wtf?
