Take a look at pics attached for a look at the hood that is currently on the car. I molded a fiberglass scoop to a steel hood and the cracking around the scoop has become unbearable. So for Christmas this year I will be getting a new fiberglass hood. I can't decide if I want a cowl induction hood or stay with the same 67' shelby style. So far I am leaning towards the 67' shelby because i just love the design, but a change would be nice. SO what do you think would look better..Cowl induction or keep the same style? Any opinions are welcome and appreciated...

Personally, I like the Shelby hood. Never was too fond of the cowl induction hoods.

Please don't put a cowl hood on it, they look so wrong on a classic Mustang. The cowl hood is so overdone and it shows up on everything. Actually the cowl induction hood started life on a Camaro and a Chevelle SS. Just my opinion.

Agree with above. Shelby hoods are awesome, cowl hoods look goofy.

I always liked the '68 Shelby look over the '67, but either way....

Ya know, I never could quite put my finger on exactly why I don't like cowl hoods on mustangs and I think that's why. Nothing against Camaros (I like them too), but the cowl hood looks better on them than on mustangs.

Love the way your car looks now. Get the fibreglass Shelby hood.
