time for brakes need help

ive got about 50k on the car and the brakes are starting to shuddr some when stopping. what are the best pads and how hard are thehy to do. i can do my 98's silverados front disc in my sleep

If by "shuddr" you mean when you brake that your steering wheel shakes, then you need to get your rotors turned (autozone or checker will do it for about 7 bucks a piece). As for brake pads, I've had great success using NAPA brand brake pads. They are a tad expensive, but they last, and don't warp your rotors that bad.

If you can take a wheel and caliper off, you can change brakes.
