ok i'm wondering what it will take to get my car in the times that i want it to be.

i would like to know your 60' 1/8 1/4 and mph(the only close track to me is 1/8 but i'm planning on making some trips to a 1/4 when i get some time off)

i would also like to know your mods including trans suspension and wheel/tire combo.and also if you've had your car weighed or reduced weight in any way.

thanks

8.93@81.4 with a teriible 2.26 60ft. Bama was very bad that night though. I've had a 1.93 before but I had some other problems on that night and could not get the car to run right. The car could easily run some 8.70's possibly 8.60's on a good night on radials.

stock long block with 3.27's and car went 13.5@99 and 8.5@80 in the 1/8th

Mods are catback, o/r h pipe, bumped timing and car that day weighted 3450 with me in it. (180)

What kind of times are you looking for?

347, ported 192cc Canfield head, Trick Flow 3 cam, 80 shot of nitrous on slicks

60: 1.68
1/8: 7.43/96mph
1/4: 11.5/118mph

my motor is around 9 to 1 compression 351w trickflow r non box intake with eddy victor jrs.

i will probably get a cam from edd curtis to try and get the most out of the motor N/A for now because i'm planning on waiting a while and fixing other things such as suspension and my rearend before i even think about getting a supercharger for the car.

when i get my 4r70w and my rear end built with 3.55/3.73 in it i was hoping to get a low 8 in the 1/4 all motor. and i was just wanting to see wat all of you guys have done to get there.

wat do you think i'll be able to accomplish with a N/A motor that low compression. i was hoping around the 360-370hp to the wheels and maybe close to 400rwt do you think this is possible?

I'm going to assume you mean low 8's in the 1/8th...if not then you'll need ALOT more to get to the big end in that time frame.

Probably 340 - 350 rwhp. Low 8s shouldn't be a problem.

I don't see that being an issue at all...my 07 with minimal bot ons went 12.9@107 and 8.2@84 in the 1/8th...just for a time comparison.

I think high 7's with some sticky tires would not be hard. You'll need a good stall converter though to get the most out of it.

man thats really what i want to hear. i got a buddy that has always had the "fast car" in our group and i would like to run with him or beat him if i could. he runs like an 8 flat and with the spray so far his best time is a 7.70 but he's still trying to get the kit dialed in.

i'm planning on getting some slicks after i get my 31 splines and subframe connectors
