My car is 4.5 years old and the front passenger wheel squeaks slightly under 10mph when I brake. Does that mean it's time to change the pads? Should I go to Ford to get it done when they do warranty seatbelt work? MA is way way too cold to do anything outdoors and I don't have a garage. Nor the tools now that I think about it, my friend graduated and took all his car stuff with him.

I'm kinda clueless about this.

Don't buy the parts from Ford. Front pads for my cobra are over 200 bucks. The service writer couldn't even tell me that without laughing (even he knew that was a joke). There has to be a good brake shop in your area. Get a free brake inspection done and they will tell you what you need. Good luck.
