I am very happy with my recently purchased 96 GT I decided to take the stang too the track for the 1st time ..Im very happy with the results being its my first time on a dragstrip
Im not too fimilar with time slips ...But heres what she ran..The car is a 5 speed...Seems like a good time for a non pi headed 4.6... I was wondering what I can do to get into the 13s ....
Any comments welcomed

upr off road x pipe or steeda pulleys and a T/A, or a intake plenum should have you pretty close. very nice times. i would first get a shifter if i was you! A shifter will make the car easier to drive!

Time looks great . Ditto the x-pipe, pullies and T/A. My o/r x-pipe dropped my et a full two tenths. Just installed the pullies and the car seems to come up through the rpm's much quicker. What gears do you have? Was that run made on slicks or street tires? The run in my sig was on stock tires with Jesus operating the clutch and squeeking the belts on every shift

I had the steeda handle ....took it off seems smoother with the stock handle

The ran was done with the stock 17 kumhos....gears are stock also

Get some drag radials, that will pretty much guarantee u a 13 sec pass...

Great times. I'd suspect with those times that you've already got gears, but one way to tell for sure. Jack up your rear end, mark your tires and your driveshaft and count the number of times the driveshaft rotates given 1 full tire rotation. Or, you could tell us what RPM you're spinning on the highway at a given mph.

If you don't have gears, that'll give you the most bang for your buck.

EDIT: LOL, don't flame me. He must've posted that the gears were stock while I was writing up my reply.

Those times are great, I say a mid pipe and drag radials will get you there.
