Hello everyone,
I have a 1990 mustang 5.0L with trickflow intake, and a paxton novi 1000 supercharger hooked up.
There seems to be a problem where the timing belt cover cracks...
I recently got the car, and the timing cover cracked. I seemed to me like a fluke, so I got it replaced and it seems to have happened again. I wont know for sure until the engine gets ripped apart again, but that is what it looks like.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
On a related note, the super charger causes my hood to dent out a little. Could this be related at all? As in the engine has no place to move?
