I might be getiing some twisted wedge heads for my 88 gt, i have the track heat upper and lower right now. I also want to get the trick flow stage 1 cam. I was wondering what length push rods to use and also what timing chain to use. Im looking at the 24 pound injectors too. any suggestions?

thanks

Use a Roller Timing Chain & Gear's for sure. Comp, Cloyes, FRPP and JP Performance (Yella Terra) make good set's for your 5.0. As for pushrod length I highly recomend getting an Adj. pushrod length checker (Comp Makes Decent Ones $14.00) to determine the exact length you need.

True... but I alway's say it's good to check. It's happened to me twice were I have went with the manufacture's recomended push rod length and they were off by a bit. It's impossible for a manufacture to have the correct length for every engine out there as all combo's are different. They are alway's close but should be used more for reference I feel. An Adj. Pushrod length checker is the only way to go.

Thank very much for the info everybody. I'm on a mission to get this going. I was behind my car yesterday with my friend driving and saw the smoke on decelleration so I really want to get this done. Thanks again

I have the tfs stage 1, and reused stock pushrods. They fit perfect.
