Ok i just put the timing chains back on the engine after swapping the heads. The right(pass) chain gets slack in it about every 4th revolution of the cam gear. It stays tight on the lower guide, the tensioner guide, but will sag off the upper. The left side stays tight.

Is this normal since there is no oil pressure for the tensioner? Or perhaps did i stretch the chain? When i swapped the cams last year i never noticed any slack.
The car has 76k miles on it and only 42oo since the cam swap

As long as it doesn't go slack to the point where it could skip teeth, I would say it is OK. The reason is as you guessed that there isn't any oil pressure to pump up the adjusters.
