So I got a 5.0 from a 97 explorer with the gt40p heads.
I am putting in a stock mustang cam or might splurge for a e303 cam we shall see.
I want to order a timing chain for it but I don't know what to order.
I was looking on summit and there seems to be a big variance in pricing for these but it doesn't say the difference. One type says "street true roller" not sure if that means the cheaper ones aren't as good..
This one is only $13. CLO-C163
The is the street true roller one $22.97: CLO-9-145
This one is much more $52: CLO-9-130 "58 link chain"
I should probably replace the gear set too?
