Here is the steps I have done so far correct me if I am wrong ..

1) Pull Spout plug
2) Loosen my Dizzy (Still keeping it fairly tight)
3) Had someone crank car over and got it to start
4) Set the timing with SPOUT out to the stock timing of 10* BTDC
5) Also Adjusted my Throttle Body's set screw so it idles at about 900 RPM's (Roughly)
6) Checked timing again still Sitting at 10* BTDC.
7) Shut car off.
8) Plugged the SPOUT back in
9) Started the car again
10) Had to burp it a few times to keep it running

but the car runs but really rough so I check to see what the computers doing with the timing light and its hunting around 20-35* BTDC and finally it seems like it seddles out at about (no joke) 32* BTDC ... if I rev it the motor shakes a bit even tho throttle response is quick. I do not get why the computer is not using the 10* BTDC or even remotely close. Do I have to add a step where I say pull the power cables off the battery to drain the computer out? Could it have a bad reading from along time ago or something. I just cannot get this thing to work with me this season. Also note that when I do have the SPOUT out and the timing set to about 10* It runs really nicely but soon as I plug that lovely SPOUT back in and fire it up it runs like complete crap. Im ready to just take it to a shop because it has me completely baffled. :nonono:

The computer adjusts the timing based on several factors. what you are setting with the distributor is the BASE timing. You can only read the base timing with the SPOUT plug out; removing the SPOUT tells the computer not to advance the timing.

The 94-95 computers are more sensitive to engine changes than the fox bodies are, and you've changed a lot. Apparently it's hit-or-miss with the E303 cam - some have no problems, others have nightmares. In the end, the solution is simple yet the application is not; you need to have the computer tuned for your engine. It's expecting a stock 302, and you're far from that now.

Suggestions

Have any suggestions on where I can get a chip burnt or what I can do here. I will try tonight pulling my power cables off the battery for a few minutes to drain any power out the beast and see what happends when I start it with the Spout Plugged in. You Know I do have a 9AL Computer from a I believe 93 Mustang Cobra/GT that I picked up years ago what would I need to get to use this and would that even help here? Any suggestions man would be so appreciated.
