If I turn the distributor counter clockwise does that make the timing go from btdc to atdc. Also when I do turn it to atdc the rpm goes up is that right.
Yes, when you "advance" (key word) the timing the rpm can increase. Hope your doing this with a timing light. And when your done you will need to reset your base idle and TPS.
Yes im doing it with a light I have been trying to get my idle down lower. So im going over everything tps idle screw FP. When I first started it was at about 900 then I get it set at 650 to 700 but when I plug the IAC back in it goes back up.
