Tinting in MA

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a good window tinter in MA. I want to go as dark as possible and still be legal.

Anyone have a suggestion for a good tinter?

I don't mind a drive, out of work for a knee injury for a another 6 weeks, and can drive in another 3.

Is this where you had yours done? How much does he charge ( ballpark) and I think 35% is the legal limit

Yup I had mine done there, I got 20%, 35 is legal its up to you what you want done. They did a great job. They can't tint the very top of the rear window b/c of the dot matix dots on there. Just have them put a black vinyl strip on there, you can't tell. It wll be about 200 bucks, they have coupons once in a while at car shows etc, here is a pic...

yeah mystic knows him, www.xtremecleancars.com, they have a message board on there now. I have not been stopped for my tint before, going on 2 years now. Just need to get the car inspected in the summer with the windows down.

I had my truck and my cobra done at factory collision in weymouth. Extreme Clean does a nice job as well, but they were about $50 more and I was feeling cheap that day. My cobra is 20% quarter glass/back glass one piece and 35% doors. My truck is 20% all around. I don't think you will get hassled much, if at all. 35% is the legal limit and most places will do what you want but it has to be cash and you don't get a receipt. I have seen a lot of extreme clean tint jobs and do a nice job.

I didn't know they did tint there, I would have gone there to save 50 bucks also. Thats a great shop, can't go wrong either place...

Tinting in Boston or South Shore

Just took my new Mustang to be pimped out... went to South Shore Glass Tinting in Hanover, MA . Tried to take your advice and go to Extrem Clean, but who can wait three weeks for tint... I mean that's BS. 3 weeks? what do they have a guy come in once a week or on the 2nd tuesday of odd named months?

Whatevr, went to South Shore tint www.sstint.com and got pimped out - i'll post some photos, but the car came out very nice, Lumar tints, perfect installer and it only took 45 mins - this cat is a pro, no doubt. Oh, they only take cash, but the tint came with lifetime warranty and the place is spotless. check it on the web sstint.com (i think) (888) 977-TINT
