I've been thinking about getting my car windows tinted and was wondering about how much a good tint job will cost? Thanks

It seems to vary a lot by area. My sister paid $130 in Maryland, I paid $165 (at the same place ???), my roomate paid $190 in Boston. Some guys in Texas say $100.

ummm it would also depend on the KIND OF TINT..... prices do vary but types of Tints vary more....

agreed, mine was like 250, but I got the good stuff, cant remember what its called, llum... somethin. anyhow I also got all the windows done to 15%, and a front strip at 5% and 3 tint tickets to go with it

I paid 180 for llumar tint, lifetime warranty. Cost only 150 to tint it, but 30 to strip it. This included the 'dots' on the back window, that no one ever seems to get have tinted. It was masked off and painted black with krylon paint. Looks awesome. 15% back, 20% sides. Done in Pacific WA by AutoTrendz

Mine isn't tinted. It's hard to notice. No one has asked me why it wasn't tinted unless I pointed out the dot matrix.

If you have some crappy tint that needs to be removed, you'll have to pay for that as well. Each of our GTs - $280 a piece to remove the crap and put in some seriously dark high end tint. The guy and his wife spent over 6 hours on each car. Perfectionist...and worth every penny. Tampa Bay area, FLA
