Tire fitment chart?

Wasnt there a early mustang fittment chart on here somewhrere? I have tried the search but all I came up with was the header chart. Well these 245/45/17s are not going to fit the front no matter what I do so if anyone needs to two new TTIIs with new Goodyear eagles let me know. I was really hoping to have the same size all the way around:nonono:

Well....considering I run 245 40 17 on mine without rolled fenders I would be interested to know what modifications you had done to your car that made you think you could run them in the first place?

You need the shelby drop and you need a very aggresive alignment. The 45 series is tough though. I ran 235 45 17 for the logest time and at lot less agreesive alignment and never had a problem either.

The car has was wrecked back in high school and now the drivers side is so bad I cant sit still and steer right or left. I bought this wheel & tire combo 7 years ago when it was the new thing to do. Now that I have everything completed and she can move under her own power its easy to see I am going to have to go down in wheel and tire size. The sad part is the passenger side looks like it would work. I have 620 springs and Granada spindles with Baer's 13" track kit. Dodgestang, your response confuses me... you say whay would I think it would work yet you have run them?

Right....they won't fit stock...so what mods had you done to the car to think they would fit?

You need the shelby drop
You need a lot of tip on the tire (aka aggressive alignment)
And with the 45 profile (as opposed to my 40 profile) you might have to roll the lip

wow those brakes look perrrrty...

nick (if i may call you that), what is the ride height from centerline of your wheels to the top of the fender? or to the ground, whichever..cause my car seems a lot lower and more agressive looking than other 65's. and the specs i've found on links.vintage-mustang.com about ride height shows my car like 2" lower than they say. so i am just curious if i did a shell bee drop if it would be negative to my car...anyway, thanks and sorry for jackinga little but it might help too.. :)
